About this event
Borderless Gravel Race Hungary winds through three countries in a single weekend of riding. Starting from the medieval streets of Sopron, the course threads gravel forest roads in the Soproni-hegység, slips briefly into Burgenland, brushes the Slovak border near Rajka, and returns south through the vineyards and wide farm tracks of the Fertő-Hanság region.
The route favors patient riders over racers. Surfaces shift from packed forest gravel to chunky farm doubletrack, with a few short paved transitions through quiet villages. Expect long, open sightlines, generous aid stations, and a finish-line goulash that has become something of a tradition.
Whether you are aiming for a podium on the long course or treating the short loop as a Saturday in the saddle with friends, the spirit here is the same: ride well, look after each other, and stay a beat longer for the music after the ride.
